Kizoa is Cool

One of the last blogs we're doing for our class is a Kizoa post. As you can see, we've been finding newer and better ways to create a creative production if you catch my drift. Prezi was the last that you saw, but for this, as you already know, we're using Kizoa. I found it much more fun  and easier to use than Prezi surprisingly. I really like the freedom this particular program gives with the title, gifs, animation and background choices. My first video was deleted so I really got the chance to get the hang of it and make it more my own. In short to sum it all up, Kizoa is cool. I hope you all enjoy my "15 Places to Hang Out Around SC State".

Top 4 Movies (that came out in 2018) to Watch Before 2018 is Over

Before the official start this post i'd like to point out that I realize that the "norm" for lists is 5 or 10, but because I appreciate even numbers and I embrace my weirdness, I feel as though 4 will suffice. Enjoy!

                                                  Number 1: Black Panther
February 16, 2018 this great movie came out. It is about a rich African kingdom led by King T'Challa also known as the black panther (Chadwick Boseman) who along with his sister Shuri (Letita Wright) and trusted warriors fight against an nemisis group looking to steal and weaponize the groundbreaking technology of the African Kingdom known as Wakonda. Why should you watch it? Well, for those of you who like the male actor view as much as I do watch it for Michael B. Jordan who is leader of the nemesis group, but if that isn't you thing, watch it because the storyline gives you a life lesson. You should also watch for the action packed scenes and one of the most important things to look for in all Marvel movies, the Stan Lee Cameo.

Number 2: Game Night
February 23, 2018 out came a comedy with Jason Bateman and Rachel McAdams, a lot less serious than the first movie you saw them in together called "State of Play". These two star as a typical husband and wife who host game nights for their friends. This particular game night took a turn for the worst after competitive husband Max (Jason Bateman) invites his allegedly richer, taller and better looking brother Brooks (Kyle Chandler) to host game night while he's in town. Brooks organizes for himself to be kidnapped requesting for each couple to use the clues and solve the case before the other couples do. For the couples, this is all a hoax but for Brooks the kidnapping ends up being real and he can only hope the other game nighters figure it out. Why watch this movie...the laughs of course!

Number 3: Incredibles 2
On June 15, 2018 after fifteen years grown kids finally got what we were waiting for and thats to find out what happened at the end of The Incredibles but when I tell you at 8 years old I was not expecting this I wouldn't be lying. This time around instead of smashing walls with tiny men in his cubicle, Mr. Incredible is home with the kids and the family is just now finding out about Jack-Jack's powers, Violet just might get to go on that date, Dash is still Dash and Mrs. Incredible, also know as Elastigirl, is out with the big dogs. Will Mr. Incredible be able to handle being an at home dad? Will Mrs. Incredible be able to handle being away from the kids and fighting crime at the same time? Will Frozone find his super suit and remain in good standings with his wife? I can't tell you which is why you must watch the movie. More characters, more laughs, more super powers more Incredible-ness (that sounds much better in my head)!

Number 4: Ralph Breaks the Internet
Last but definitely not least we have the sequel to Wreck-It Ralph, Ralph Breaks the Internet which came out November 21, 2018. Although I have not yet seen this movie, having seen Wreck-It Ralph I was amazed by the graphic and the overall creativity of the movie. Judging from the trailers, this movie sets out not to disappoint. Animated characters Ralph and Vanellope set out on another adventure and this time, to the internet which just so happens to look like New York City. Who knows what Vanellope will get Ralph into this time around, we'll all have to watch to find out.

My Interest in Pinterest!

I don't know how exactly long i've been interested in Pinterest, but for maybe a little more than  2 years I have been pressing my Pinterest app on my phone, iPad and computer. If you don't know what Pinterest is just think of a social media site where you can post something with a picture about literally almost everything, some posts lead to a website, but ALL posts lead to more posts like it (its like an endless cycle).

You may not be grasping the concept so i'll show you. Let's say you search "places to visit with waterfalls," Pinterest will give you endless results and after clicking one, it gives you even more endless results, but closer to the endless result that you initially chose.

Ask me what I like about Pinterest and I'll say the pictures, funny comments and of course the endless results! Ask me what I dislike about Pinterest and I'd only say endless results! Because of these i've spent hours on Pinterest clicking, scrolling quizzing, figuring out what words I can use other than excited, what the character traits of my zodiac sign are, the correct way to peel a banana and many more things I never thought i'd spend hours looking at.

In this example after searching for "places to visit with waterfalls," I chose the photo with the caption "Victoria falls" and after, it not only brought me to the post but more posts like it.

At first glance you might not think Pinterest is a social media site, but when you take a closer look, you'll see buttons like 'pin', 'share' and my personal favorite 'boards'. Boards are categories named and chosen by you and filled with pins (saved Pinterest posts) of your choice. I have a few boards but the boards that I have the most pins on are "Things to Eat" and "Things to Wear" as you can see, the titles are self explanatory.

Fashion and food are my 2 favorite things to look at on Pinterest. I've tried outfits and recipes all from Pinterest and neither have failed, I don't know what you're waiting go to Pinterest now! While you're there, check out my posts!

Top 10- A Prezi Presentation

How many top 10 lists have you seen in your lifetime? A lot right? Well this particular list is a top 10 of my all time favorite 90s cartoons. I know you might be thinking, how can you choose just 10, well I did and in order to do it I used Prezi!

Prezi is a newer, but not too new way to present Prezi presentations (wow say that 3 times fast). Many of us may be used to using Powerpoint, and if you know how, one can be very creative with Powerpoint resulting in a presentation to be proud of.

Using Prezi helps to push that creativity to its limits giving your viewers a new source of interest while watching your presentation. Prezi allows you to use music, animations and overall it is just a better and more pleasing to the eye way to present! Here is my top 10 all time favorite 90s cartoons presented by Prezi.

Shenice Caughman

How do you spell your name, "She-nice," was the response she gave. Who is she? Her name is Shenice Caughman, pronounced sh-neice, from Newberry, South Carolina. She grew up in a close knit family and her bestfriends are her mom and sister, family means everything to her.

In addition to family, happiness and peace of mind are also very important keys of success in her life. "If you're not happy, you're miserable." Peace of mind may not be something that people realize is important but for Shenice it is a big part of her world. "If I don't have peace of mind I don't have anything. I am a terrible person and thats not good for anyone."

When Shenice graduates she, like most, wants to travel the world but her favorite place is New Orleans because she has never been to a place where there is so much love. A place where you can get "great food, great drinks and a good time." In addition to traveling the world she aspires to become a sideline reporter for ESPN.
Her major is journalism and she is currently in her last year at South Carolina State University even after paying out of pocket for most of her undergraduate years. Shenice loves chicken, the color pink and she is never afraid of getting lost. Why? Shenice says "I think there is beauty in getting lost, because you will always find your way."

Justin Hill

Is a 23 year old broadcasting major from Winnsboro, South Carolina. He likes piƱa coladas and getting caught in the rain...kidding! He actually enjoys horror movies and loves the fall and the winter time. When you first meet Justin you think he is like a nice, quiet reserved person and sometimes looks can be deceiving, but not for him.

Parties aren't really his thing, he hates summer and his area of comfort is behind the camera. When asked about his dream job, Justin stated that it is to work for a news station as the camera man or helping out with the behind the scenes activity with TMZ, "I like David Mills, and I would like to do something like he did as well." David Mills was a writer and producer for television, you may have seen his name in the credits of the shows The Wire, NYPD Blue and Homicide.

Justin attends South Carolina State University and is currently in his senior year. He chose SC State because of his cousin who is a very successful nurse and Alumni of the institution. "I look up to all of the people who graduated and made something of themselves," was Justin's response when asked about his role model after he stated that he doesn't really have one.

In the spring of 2018 Justin became a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Incorporated, below you'll see a picture of him in his probate attire. He joined because he wanted to be a part of something bigger than himself. Although this is Justin's last year in college, he believes that degrees are just pieces of paper, but "it is what you do with it," that makes all the difference. Rockin Robin... Tweet, Tweet tweet

Today, there is a site that over 1
million people use, famous and not alike to share their whereabouts, how they are felling, what they may want to eat for dinner or try cooking tomorrow, their opinions on political matters or natural disasters or whatever they are feeling.

The site known as Twitter, was created by Jack Dorsey in 2006 and inspired by his want to become a dispatcher. His words from the 60 minutes interview were that the dispatchers would "always talk about where they are going, what they are doing and how they feel. With Twitter it goes to the World."

Twitter has become an outlet for people to express themselves on any topic to any degree. 300 million people send over 1 billion tweets every day. Twitter is so popular that the President of the United States feels the need to use it not sometimes, but very often.

Although I disagree with his continuous use of Twitter because I deem it unprofessional especially in the context that he uses it in, I feel that it gives the nation a chance to see who they have put in charge, how he feels and his impact on everyone else and how they feel about it almost as though he is having a conversation with the world and through this site everyone gets to chime in. take a look at these tweets and maybe you will feel the same.Trump and TwitterTwitter Cry

Three people I follow on Twitter are Joel Olsteen because he always sends inspirational tweets that may occasionally make it to my snapchat, Kanye West because he is entertaining and controversial and my dad because he doesn't have that many followers and he needs all the help he can get.

I believe Twitter is very powerful and the conversations that the world has tells a lot about us as a whole and the relationship that we have with each other that some don't know exists. A lot of that power has been used for bad but a lot of it has been used for good as well and for America, that is a step in the right direction.
